This Musical Theatre Workshop will allow students to act, sing, and dance their way through Broadway & popular songs in the style of GLEE. The students will work to create the characters, plot, scenes and lines. They will help to select the music, and be exposed to professional acting, dancing and singing techniques, building to a full musical theatre performance. Students spend two weeks working in a hands-on environment learning playwriting, plot formation, music fundamentals, stage and performance techniques, Students will experience group and individual instruction, and will be RECORDING and PERFORMING. The workshop will culminate in a performance to be held at the MJPAA Black Box Theatre.
